Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has filed a restraining order against Pradeep Manukonda, 31, after a series of very dark Facebook messages — “please help me, then I am ready to die for you… Please understand my pain” — and repeated uninvited visits to the Facebook offices in Palo Alto, TMZ is reporting. Zuckerberg’s court filings say that Manukonda has attempted to “follow, surveil and contact Mr. Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety.” As creepy and sad as this seems, the sliver of irony — yes, the man who made “Facebook stalking” possible has a stalker! — will make for at least one joke from every late night television host. Probably two from Jay Leno.
More from TMZ:
According to the legal docs, Facebook security also intercepted Pradeep at Mark’s home on January 24 just as he was about to walk up the front steps.
Cops gave Pradeep a verbal warning — but Mark claims the guy has continued to try to contact him through the mail … even sending flowers to his home with a hand-written letter on January 28.
“Time is really running out on me,” Manukonda wrote. He signed the message [sic], “Your truly.” Yikes. The rest is here.
