The culture blog Brain Pickings points us this morning to Australian, Brooklyn-based artist James Gulliver Hancock, whose precious undertaking to draw every building in New York City is actually going quite nicely. “I started out wanting to hug all the buildings in some autistic reaction to love, awe, shock,” said Hancock. “But now they are slowly becoming just friends.” Luckily, they’re cute. See some samples after the jump.
You can keep up with Hancock’s progress on his blog, where prints are also available for order, as are commissioned works.
