Following his expulsion from Top Chef last night, Dale Talde has given The Feast a scant few details about Bodega, the pop-up he’s planning to debut somewhere on the Bowery this Saturday. The chef is hoping the concept will beget a permanent restaurant, and claims he wants to court “the old Dominican guy who’s been in the neighborhood for 25 years.” The same one who most likely will not be attending Bodega’s $100-per-head VIP dinner this weekend.
