If the continuing success of Luke’s Lobster is any indication, inhabitants of the city’s upper climes love consuming crustaceans in hot dog buns. And beginning today, they’ll have even greater opportunity to do so.
Ditch Plains, the West Village oyster bar/seafood restaurant Marc Murphy opened in 2006, has expanded to a second location at 100 West 82nd Street. The menu is very similar to its downtown counterpart: Think lobster rolls, fish tacos, and mac ‘n’ cheese-covered Ditch Dogs, refined Montauk stoner-surfer comfort cuisine that will likely translate well to the UWS family-dining crowd.
