Trus’me has more in common with, say, Detroit’s Moodymann than with his own Manchester’s Happy Mondays. He makes eclectic, emotive deep house that found a home on Chicago’s Still Music before he founded his own label, Prime Numbers. Residents VDRK and Free Magic’s mixes encompass disco, Chicago house, and Germans from minimal to macro and the Talking Heads. With Tyson Ballard of Voyeurhythm.
