Alan Simpson, former Senator and current co-chairman of President Obama’s deficit commission, went on Fox News’ version of 106 & Park (that would be Your World with Neil Cavuto) to discuss Social Security. Politico reports Simpson argued that old people were being oversensitive with their Social Security funds (it is worth noting that Simpson is old himself). In demonstrating that the elderly resent the youth of America, he evoked hypothetical grandparents, a hypothetical thank-you card, and the rappers “The Enema Man” and “Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dogg.”
Here is what Simpson had to say:
“This is a fakery. If they care at all about their children or grandchildren, and sometimes I doubt that — I think, you know, grandchildren now don’t write a thank-you for the Christmas presents, they’re walking on their pants with the cap on backwards listening to the Enema Man and Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dogg, and they don’t like them!
Before you start laughing at Alan Simpson — that geezer knows nothing about hip-hop! — consider this: Maybe the Enema Man and Snoopy Snoopy Poop Dogg are real rappers, and they are on some hardcore gangster shit. Major labels won’t mess with these cats because their shit is so raw it will blow out the Alpines in your Caprice.
Former Senator Simpson is just on some shit you haven’t even heard of yet. Don’t hate.
