This time last year, the maybe-morons of Michigan’s Salem were preparing to be booed off the stage of the Fader Fort at South by Southwest. Anti-hype duly established, they’re skipping the 2011 edition of that music-biz confab in favor of a headlining tour that brings the notorious goth-gaze trio to Santos’ Party House this weekend. In addition to loads of fog and neon—not to mention three maddeningly blank expressions honed by a year of left-field fashion-mag work—expect supporting appearances by such Salem pals as Lil Ugly Mane, Becka Diamond, XMOFOX, and Aaron K.
