So we called the slice shrine and spoke with Margaret Mieles, daughter of Dom DeMarco and also Di Fara’s manager. It seems that she’d prefer to keep the Facebook thing on the informal side: “If I posted a status or anything saying now accepting orders on Facebook, it might go crazy.”
While Mieles confirmed that customers can indeed order through Facebook, she stressed repeatedly that they have to do so a day or two in advance — “if they place an order and come in 10 minutes or an hour later and expect it’s going to be ready,” they’ll be disappointed. And while Mieles acts as the Facebook page’s administrator, it’s not like she’s on it all day long, waiting for orders to appear. The woman has a pizzeria to run, after all.
