Today marks the 150th anniversary of Italian unification, so what better day to launch a new website celebrating Italian food and culture? EatItalian is part restaurant-review site, part marketplace, part online community celebrating all the things that lead to la bella figura. And excitingly, the site’s online shopping portion is stocked with goods from New York’s own beloved DiPalo’s.
True, the variety of products isn’t quite as impressive as that on DiPalo’s own website, but it makes online socializing and shopping for Italian foodstuffs slightly easier. You know, because socializing while waiting in line at the store is so pre-Internet.
