On the heels of the Rum House reopening with a hip new drinks list, it looks like the next old-school bar to overhaul its cocktail menu will be the bar at the back of Harry’s Café and Steak.
Harry’s steakhouse, which dates to 1972 and was reborn several years ago as Harry’s Café and Steak, has hired Sean Muldoon, an acclaimed bartender and beverage manager from across the pond, to breathe new life into the cocktail list. No details are being released just yet, but with Muldoon’s résumé, expectations are high. He is best known for helping build the Merchant Hotel bar in Belfast into an award-winning cocktail lounge, often cited as the best in the world.
With the forthcoming Pier A project on the books, looks like the folks at Harry’s will be busy over the next few years.
