If you’re looking to while away several minutes looking at images that will actually make you drool, check out Food Curated‘s newest installment. This week, Liza de Guia trains her lens on Dough, the newish Clinton Hill doughnut shop that’s selling flavors like hibiscus, lemon-poppyseed, and blood orange. It turns out that the mastermind behind the shop’s menu is Fany Gerson, who is also known for the magic she works on ice pops at La Newyorkina. The video repeatedly shows her dunking doughnuts in glaze, which is both hypnotic and a dangerous thing to watch around lunchtime. And she neatly sums up the chief criteria for a good doughnut: “Even if it’s big, it shouldn’t weigh how it looks.”
