‘Spontaneous Construction’

Adam Schatz and his Search & Restore team have been goosing the local jazz scene with entertaining curatorial gambits. This new weekly series finds them uniting an array of local heroes who have never played together. Can you say “instant composing”? We know that pianist Jean Michel Pilc, drummer Bobby Previte, saxophonist Jeff Lederer, and guitarist Liberty Ellman are an apt fraternity on paper. The fun starts when the search for synergy becomes thick with ideas–fingers crossed.
