The future is written: Big Audio Dynamite (featuring ex-Clash guitarist Mick Jones) are dusting off from a decade-plus absence and returning to our Anglophilic shores. Their one and only East Coast show features the original 1984 lineup and wraps up their much-lauded current tour, based mostly in the United Kingdom with Los Angeles and the Coachella Festival thrown in for fun. Expect jams from 1986’s No. 10, Upping St., their best-known rock record (it peaked at No. 11 on the U.K. album charts), and yell at Jones for being distracted by cartoons; he hinted at this reunion for some time, but was waylaid by his involvement with (the admittedly great) Gorillaz. We’re long overdue for a new ride with them.
