The ghostly pallor and Lynchian overtones of singer/songwriter Timber Timbre (a/k/a Taylor Kirk) keeps Canada’s music scene weird. On his new album, Creep On Creepin’ On, cinematic spook comes from lushly orchestrated backwater folk that sounds like a monster rising from the dead. While Kirk usually prefers the acoustics of old churches and the comfort of a hooded cloak, he’ll translate his uber-creep to the dark bowels of Joe’s Pub tonight. Viewer beware, you’re in for a scare.
