Guy Cleaning Out Cobra Pit Is All of Us

Who hasn’t been there? Tasked with a difficult, dangerous job, wearing, perhaps, questionable footwear for our duties, we grin and bear it, and we persevere. Maybe we’ve never cleaned out a cobra pit, per se, but cobra pits come in all shapes and sizes, with or without actual cobras. The man cleaning out the cobra pit is a metaphor for life: Do your best and don’t get bit, or, as some people like to say, “fake it ’til you make it.” Also, thank God you don’t work with snakes.
