The raw materials
I’d make shit out of Shinola by combining toasted cheese and licorice in the same sandwich. If I can catch one of the interns, perhaps I can begin applying for a patent. But pending that, I’m content to merely celebrate two great holidays with my “licoreese” sandwich.
Really, licorice is every bit as good as bacon when it comes to livening up some dull cheddar. And I’m certain something in the licorice neutralizes cholesterol, or does something equally salutary.
So here’s my mega-monument to two great foods — toasted cheese and licorice!
