Brooklyn, better yet, Williamsburg is a smorgasbord of first dates and first hookups. The new Web series Brooklyn Is in Love captures this roller coaster of emotion of on-again, off-again relationships via the romantic woes of three twentysomething hipsters who likely resemble your ex-lovers. Tonight’s launch party features the first screening of this series, produced, written, and directed by Danielle Earle, with musical performances by Charlotte Sometimes, Leslie Mendelson, Kevin Garrett, and Greg Petronzi. And, yes, the storylines in Brooklyn Is in Love will sound very familiar—you cannot copyright your life.
