Pantha Du Prince produces music just a few feet outside of techno: He’s learned as much from Slowdive as from Detroit. His sonic explorations open up gloriously intricate textures, balancing top-end soaring with gurgling bass. It’s the sort of thing that might be more fit for headphone-listening than dancing, but the prospect of letting him turn it up and stretch out is irresistible.
