Indiana’s Karl Geiger favors the hard Swedish techno sound popularized by Adam Beyer. He’s talented enough that he’s found a mentor in Beyer and a home on his Drumcode label (as well as on London’s equally heavy Perc Trax), and his skills are bringing new attention to a mesmerizing subgenre that hasn’t been getting its due in recent years.
