Local Luca Venezia, a/k/a Drop the Lime, is best known for his shuddering, bass-heavy DJ sets, in which his demonically catchy club hit “Devil’s Eyes” always fits nicely. He has a fondness, too, for spinning retro sets that might span anything from early rave to ’80s alternative to soul, rockabilly, and doo-wop. Rumor has it that the debut album due out this autumn draws from the classics, so expect to hear some of his unique take on his ’50s roots in tonight’s live performance. With Cubic Zirconia and DJ sets from more of DTL’s Trouble & Bass crew.
