Tomorrow, Hear Grant Achatz Talk About His Life on the Line

There’s an excellent Fresh Air interview with Grant Achatz on the NPR website that’s more than worth 43 minutes of your time, but those who would prefer to hear the chef talk in person about his new memoir, Life, on the Line, should get themselves over to the Mid-Manhattan library tomorrow night. Beginning at 6:30, Achatz will talk with Culintro co-founder Alina Munoz about his book, which details his battle against tongue cancer, and his work at Chicago’s Alinea. Presumably,
John Mariani won’t be in the audience.
