Celebrate Brooklyn! Lineup Announced: The Feelies, Larry Harlow, 2/3 Of The Dixie Chicks, And More

by

The lineup for most of the free shows at the annual Celebrate Brooklyn! festival–held at the Prospect Park Bandshell at around dusk–has been announced, and it’s full of highlights: the reborn New Jersey act The Feelies, supported by Times New Viking and Real Estate (July 23); the shimmering country of the Court Yard Hounds (aka the Dixie Chicks minus Natalie Maines; July 7); the soul-rock meltdown of The Heavy and the London Souls (June 25); and Latin legend Larry Harlow presiding over a Battle of the Salsa Violins. Much more–including listings for the season’s indie-rock-leaning benefit shows and a dance party thrown every Thursday in May–after the jump.

All shows are free with a $3 suggested contribution unless noted.
