Dom Pérignon Tasting Dinner

Think Dom is just for popping on New Year’s Eve or to celebrate your latest album dropping? Think again. Seth Box, cirector of education for Moët Hennessy USA, leads this $180 four-course pairing dinner, featuring such dishes as Caviar à la Russe, Gnocchi à la Parisienne, Roasted Squab With Peach Marmalade, and Aged Gruyère and Cranberries Brioche, each accompanied by a different DP bubbly.

DINNERfix: Aquatic Acquisitions and Landlocked Lust
Tuesday, May 24, 7 p.m.

It’s a good old-fashioned surf ‘n’ turf. The monthly supper club at this gallery-slash-bar consists of nine dishes “themed around the duality between land and sea.” The menu includes Country Fried Oyster & Beef with mingonette jelly; Sweet Bass With Sticky Oxtail & Carrot Mousse; and Black and White Trout and Crispy Lamb. The cost is $85.

Bourbon and Barbecue Dinner
Hill Country Barbecue Market
Tuesday, May 24, 6 p.m.

Join Maker’s Mark master distiller Greg Davis for a meal and talk on the traditions of Texas barbecue and bourbon. Four courses, including Chili Rubbed Chicken Wings With Smoked Piña Glaze, Ancho Crusted Lamb Chops With Spinach and Basil, and Smoked Pork Loin With House Cured Bacon, will be paired with bourbon cocktails, all for $65.

El Tesoro Tequila Dinner
Dos Caminos Meatpacking
Tuesday, May 24, 7 p.m.

El Tesoro’s master distiller, Carlos Camerana, will be in town for this $55 three-course dinner with tequila pairings. There will be Dos Caminos’ signature guacamole, lobster ceviche, rib-eye alambre, and chocolate tamals for dessert.
