Classic-rock survivors remember Joshua White from his late-’60s collaborations at the Fillmore East with Jimi Hendrix and the Mothers of Invention. Now the creator of the Joshua Light Show is back with a new work called Fulldome that promises to turn the Museum of Natural History’s Hayden Planetarium into an acid-damaged Wayback Machine. (The museum says the production “explores the neurological phenomenon [known as] synesthesia,” which sounds like typical hippie rationalizing to us.) White’s partners this time include local indie-psych goofballs Oneida and Ana Matronic of Scissor Sisters, so expect a crowd filled with old-timers and next-gen explorers alike.
