Having already launched the existence of Ruth Bourdain, Ruth Reichl’s Twitter feed is now going to launch a cookbook.
The Poynter website this week got a bunch of food luminaries to comment on The State of Food Writing Today. Included among them is Ruth Reichl, who asserts that “everybody has always thought they could be a food critic, that hasn’t changed.” She also talks about her Twitter feed, which, Poynter reports, is the inspiration for Reichl’s new cookbook.
There are no further details at the moment, other than the book will be based on a year’s worth of Tweets. There’s also no word on whether Ruth Bourdain has been given a companion deal, though one can always dream.
