Beer-happy picnickers were not too happy at this Sunday’s first annual Brewers’ Pic Nyc at Governors Island about having to wait for a whole extra hour before they could start drinking. Organizers were apparently confused about New York’s blue laws, which were changed in 2006, making it legal to sell alcohol after 8 a.m. on Sundays.
