Beanie Sigel No Longer Peeved At Jay-Z

“Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me—he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.”
It would appear that Beanie Sigel has forgiven Jay-Z, going so far as to trash an album’s worth of disses against Roc-A-Fella that he was thinking of releasing sometime in the near future. The beef, which spawned a few angry songs that included the 2009 track “What You Talkin’ ‘Bout,” stemmed in part from Sigel’s belief that Jay and Roc-A-Fella weren’t doing enough to promote his solo career; Sigel told a Philly radio host at the time of Blueprint 3‘s release, “I feel [Jay] gave out a lot of pairs of shoes on that album. I felt my feet was meant for a couple of them.” No comment from Jay yet, but wouldn’t it be nice if Beanie opened his door to a huge box from Zappos this AM? [Via]
