I happened to pass by a Godiva chocolatier in Midtown the other day — I didn’t go in, I swear — and was even more stunned by the sight of the cashier than I was by some of the prices I caught.
She was a big gal!
A real Brunhilde type!
The woman weighed 275 pounds if she was an ounce!
She barely fit behind the counter!
And I was thrilled about this because:
A) So many shops only hire svelte and “attractive” types, so you have to be a freakin’ supermodel to even work a cash register these days.
B) It was total truth in advertising.
