By now, we all know that the Chelsea location of Chipotle is serving some of the best tacos in town. For the rest of the world, the chain offers even more, or so it sounds: “Not just a burrito. It’s a foil-wrapped, hand-crafted, local farm supporting, food culture changing cylinder of deliciousness,” according to one report. Such a life-changing food surely shouldn’t be eaten unaccompanied. Snooth, the online wine-search database, rounded up an international cast of wines, including the 2009 Alamos Torrontes, 2010 Cupcake Riesling, and 2009 Kris Pinot Noir, to enjoy with the pork carnitas tacos, vegetarian burrito, and chicken burrito. The Cupcake was a dead match for the latter, but also did well with the veggie burrito. In fact, it turns out that a Chipotle veggie burrito pairs pretty well with most any easy-drinking white.
