Wondering what the “modern Asian” restaurant Dale Talde is opening with the Thistle Hill Tavern folks will entail? Per Grub Street, the restaurant, called Talde, will feature Southeast Asian, Japanese, and Chinese flavors, as well as “a lot of Brooklyn.” Expect Korean-style fried chicken; a perilla leaf salad with toasted shrimp, caramel, tamarind, and coconut; and an oyster-bacon pad Thai that incorporates both Benton’s Bacon and Frank’s Red Hot. And 70 seats, a chef’s table, and an open kitchen. And, it goes without saying, sriracha.
