Sergio Corbucci, the most political of maker of spaghetti westerns, cast Burt Reynolds as a vengeful Navajo. The movie didn’t do much for Reynolds, although it did inspire several sequels while inspiring a great kettle drum-pounding, chorus-keening Ennio Morricone score.
