This isn’t happening until next weekend, but in our book it’s never too early to start planning for excessive ice cream consumption. So we’re happy to spread word that on Saturday, July 16, Smorgasburg will be celebrating National Ice Cream Month with the help of a bunch of regional ice cream producers.
From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Ample Hills Creamery, People’s Pops, Raw Ice Cream, Early Bird Ice Cream, La Newyorkina, Kelvin Slush, Chozen, Steve’s, Milk Made, and Blue Marble will all be on hand to ply the general populace with their chilly wares. If the lines for Ample Hills’ salty crack caramel are any indication, you may want to get there early.
