Another week, another fun round of Where Am I Eating? A lot of good guesses, especially Weather Up, which serves a similar dish of cold fried chicken and oysters. But only Red Hook’s Fort Defiance offers a menu item of cold fried chicken and oysters and bacon. My opinions on brunch are well-known, but this dish — essentially the first thing you should eat if you ever find yourself questioning kosherism — is one that will occasionally make me a brunch convert.
