This weekend, I had the pleasure of representing The Village Voice for the second year in a row at the Food Network’s annual Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival. Here are some snapshots of that event, and please forgive me if my perspective verges on the droll.

Even though lines were often long, it was possible to sample dozens of wines in a three-hour session at the Grand Market.

You can bet Food Network superstars the Neelys were there, too, hosting event after event, including “Blues, Brews, and BBQ,” where their own ‘cue was served, in addition to some very sophisticated microbrews, of which two were from our own Brooklyn Brewery.
