Cute as a button and ornery as a mad housewife, she actually plays a discontented spouse on Southland. (She’s the one trying to manage that recalcitrant dog.) She’s also currently an aggressive lawyer on Royal Pains, but tonight she appears in person with a piece of fun called “Kidding on the Square.” As directed by Sarna Lapine and musical directed by G. Scott Lacey, she sings standards but in her own quirky way and offers us a peek into her lively space.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8:30 & 11 p.m.; Tuesdays-Thursdays, 8:30 p.m. Starts: Sept. 2. Continues through Sept. 10, 2011
