It’s surprising to see the crazy bass kids of Turrbotax host minimal elder statesman Robert Hood at their second anniversary party, but any opportunity to see the quick-mixing Detroit techno pioneer is a good thing. More typical of their lineups is Brooklyn’s own Pursuit Grooves, who has been making adventurous, housey, hip-hop-informed dubstep for Pinch’s Tectonic label. Meanwhile, Yorkshire’s young Blawan has produced a handful of acidic dubstep records that show he was raised on Warp and Rephlex. With residents Contakt, Rem Koolhaus, Mayster, C-Sick, and Space Jam.
