Café Mogador’s artillery of vegetarian appetizers is our favorite thing to eat on St. Marks Place, and soon it may be our favorite thing to eat in Williamsburg. Eater reports that the Moroccan restaurant is expanding to a storefront at 133 Wythe Avenue that is expected to open in September. We’re less surprised by Mogador’s Brooklyn expansion, which is by this point all but mandatory for restaurants below 14th Street, than by the fact that the seemingly ageless restaurant is almost 30 years old. Maybe there’s some truth to that Dr. Oz shtick about olive oil being youth in a bottle.
