Pop-Up Asian Night Market Coming to Nolita Tonight

Tonight, the corner of Elizabeth Street and Kenmare will play host to a pop-up night market celebrating Asian food and culture. Hosted by pop-up gurus Openhouse Gallery, tonight’s event (which lasts from 5 to 11) will feature a variety of Far Eastern treats.

Food offerings will include Taiwanese shaved ice from the Shaved Ice Shop, Taiwanese-American cookies and cupcakes from Filled With Sweets, teriyaki balls from Mimi and Coco, Korean tacos and burritos from Korilla BBQ, assorted snacks from the HK Street Cart, and banh mi from Justin Wan. Organizers tell us that they hope for the night market to be a regular gig, but that tonight is sort of a test-run for things to come.
