RouRou Cafe Actually Partially Owned by Cupcake Stop Owner


Apparently the cashier who told us that RouRou Café wasn’t affiliated with the Cupcake Stop misspoke. Owner Richard Kallman wrote in to tell us that he is not only affiliated with RouRou Café, but has a “50 percent [ownership] of RouRou with my partner Aaron Matalon of the famous Corrado Bread and Pastry” and that RouRou is a sort of hybrid of the Corrado and Cupcake Stop. He also notes that his company will be taking “big steps” this fall, seeking to still give Crumbs a run for its money. Who said cupcakes were a dying trend?
