Heavy and charmingly heady even in the midst of their rap-rock rise to fame, Incubus inspired a legion of insipid followers (see: Hoobastank). Only now, after five years off, Brandon Boyd and his pals have drenched themselves in the very Hot A.C. weaksauce they helped brew. Mellow, measured and furiously mid-tempo, If Not Now, When?, their latest, is a record for bleak company break rooms, or those five people who miss Vertical Horizon. Getting old stinks.
