Drag legend Lypsinka (a/k/a John Epperson) will be performing in the window of Bergdorf Goodman tonight as part of the Fashion’s Night Out festivities, so Dirty magazine did an advance shot of the diva looking fab as a sort of real-life display mannequin, but with way better accessories.
And in the mag’s interview with Lypsinka, she reveals a lot of things — including the fact that director Herbert Ross was a fan and wanted to involve her in an American version of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
There was even a reading of the script, with Whoopi Goldberg and Daryl Hannah, but the project was always on the verge and wasn’t meant to be, alas.
Still, Lypsinka — well, Epperson — popped up as a rehearsal pianist in Black Swan just last year.
And tonight’s your chance to window shop for some Lyp gloss.
