The drink: Pickletini

The ingredients: Infused Wodka, pickle juice, shaken and served up.
The buzz: By this time last year, we were already so over the ubiquitous pickleback. But, if you’re going to cocktail at The Woodwork, where the drinks menu is limited to such intentionally artless options as the “Fuck It Bucket” (six beers for the price of five) and Spiked Ting (if you know what Ting is, it’s that plus vodka), you might as well have something briny, which is something of a house specialty. And, besides, if you’re going to get pickled, go big. In other words, the Pickletini is super pickly. The brine itself is tasty, dilly and sharp with mustard-seed notes. You may want to order a glass of water with it to avoid dehydration, but if you’re headed out to dinner — say, at the newly opened Chuko across the street — it’s a solid appetite opener. All acidity and not much else, perfect to get you salivating.
