Cops Release Video of Brooklyn Sex Attack Suspect


This surveillance video was released by the police at a Community Board 7 safety meeting in Park Slope last night. Its time stamp is September 4th, which, as Fucked in Park Slope notes, aligns it with the attack in Sunset Park that happened that night.

You can’t see much in the video but cops say it’s one of the two (and possibly three) attackers. According to CBS, people at the meeting made it clear to the NYPD representatives there that they were fed up with a perceived lack of responsiveness from cops. Police say they’ve been giving the issue the attention it deserves, having recently upped the number of uniform and plainclothes cops on patrol in the area plus continuing “to hand out flyers and sketches and follow up on the many leads they’ve received.”

This particular suspect is described, vaguely, as a white or Hispanic male who is about 28 years old.
