Brooklyn Pour is less than a month away, and while we know you’re eagerly counting down the days, here’s some more info to get you even more pumped for The Village Voice‘s first-ever craft-brew tasting event: The final round of beers has just been released, and we’ve got a sneak peek at the food being served, plus some of the fun activities that’ll take place during the event.
The final round of beers that will be available are Crispin Cider, Guinness Black Lager, Long Trail Brewing Company, Magic Hat Brewing Company, Troegs Brewing Company, and Vanberg & DeWulf.
What can you eat with all that beer? How about sliders from Bare Burger, German currywurst from Der Schwarze Kolner, sandwiches from Rye House, pretzels from Sigmund Pretzel Shop, slices from Pizza 33, and wings from My Super Wings? All those vendors will be on hand selling their snacks.
Brooklyn Pour also just unveiled some of the events and activities that will take place amid the drinking. Private Tap, an online local community for craft-beer enthusiasts, will be answering questions at Brooklyn Pour on how to get started with home brewing and demonstrating equipment with their resident home brewer and beer social media guru, Tim Besecker. And author James Waller of Drinkology Beer will be hosting a talk during the Brooklyn Pour VIP hour. Plus more to come!
And if that’s not enough to get you pumped for the tasting event, there will now be a Brooklyn Pour After-Party, hosted by local beer garden Der Schwarze Kolner, and which will take place at 710 Fulton Street in Fort Greene starting at 6 p.m. for all ticket holders. Party time!!!
Although VIP tickets are sold out, some general admission ones remain. To get them, visit villagevoice.com/brooklynpour.
