Changes Afoot: Aquavit Modifies Space, Fatty ‘Cue Alters Name

Always tweaking and adjusting, these New York restaurants. In Manhattan, the Scandinavian restaurant Aquavit has decided to move its dinner service to the 52-seat bistro. Eater is reporting that the dining room in back will become a second private dining venue.

Over in Brooklyn, the original Fatty ‘Cue is getting a name change now that Manhattan has its own Fatty ‘Cue, and a dressed-up version of it to boot. According to Grub Street, the Williamsburg location will henceforth be known as “The Bar Room at Fatty ‘Cue.” (Although construction in the back suggests that re-branding isn’t quite complete.) The front room will focus on cocktails and other special events, like Zak Pelaccio DJ-ing. As for what the back room will spawn, we can only imagine.
