Comedy duo Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin, best friends since seventh grade, know each other’s deepest, darkest, dorkiest secrets and aren’t afraid to mine them for laughs on stage. Their newest show, Mel & El: Our Time of the Month, features new comedy and songs about their “co-defriendency,” created with composer Patrick Spencer Bodd, that are described on their website as, yes, “really bloody funny.” This show is one of their last before Mel goes on maternity leave. Inspired by the sonogram images of Mel’s son, the ladies will debut the rap number “Well-Hung Fetus.” Oy vey!
