How would you like to sit in a bed awash in spilled drinks? Do you eat in bed at home?
Tomorrow, Fork in the Road uncorks its weekly Our 10 Best project, showcasing the city’s strangest, weirdest, dumbest, and most inscrutable restaurants. Not just from this year or last, but for the entire history of New York restaurants.
There’s one place that stages turtle races every evening, and another where the waiters shout at you all night and try to startle you by any means possible. Not a prescription for relaxing dining, right? But these places are for folks who demand more than just food at dinner — they need some extraneous form of entertainment as well.
So please join us bright and early tomorrow morning for NYC’s 10 Weirdest Restaurants.
In the meantime, please take a look at our previous 10 Best lists.
