Here are some of the latest newcomers to New York City’s cutthroat dining scene.

David’s Tea, a Canadian chain, has set up shop on Bleecker Street. No word on whether pountine is served (which would be awesome).

Walter Foods, a Williamsburg oyster bar, has set foot in Fort Greene.
