Coors Light Can Save You in a Snowdrift

Coors Light is not only a savior to college students nationwide, it’s now an actual lifesaver for an Alaskan man who survived on nothing but frozen cans of the beverage for three days while caught in a snowdrift, the New York Daily News reports.

Clifton Vial got caught in bad weather (minus 12 to minus 17 degrees) late last month outside of Nome, Alaska, with no cell service and nothing in his car besides a few layers of clothing, his sleeping bag, and the beer. Although the suds had frozen solid, he was able to scrape them using a knife (hello, beer slushie). Finally, 60 hours later, he was saved, having lost 16 pounds. Just some additional proof that light beer can, indeed, be a diet beverage!
