Yes, Eugene Mirman fans, Christmas comes early this year. Your favorite local goofball will be hosting not one but two spectacular holiday-themed shows this week. Tonight is Latkes and Hams: An Evening to Benefit 826NYC, the nonprofit writing program for children started by the bestselling author Dave Eggers. The evening, co-hosted by Mirman and Sarah Vowell at Symphony Space, includes music and comedy from SNL’s Fred Armisen, John Wesley Harding, Mike Birbiglia, and They Might Be Giants. On Sunday the laughs continue with the Pretty Good Friends Holiday Show, a special presentation of Mirman’s weekly comedy showcase with guests Kristen Schaal, John Mulaney, and more to be announced. Happy holidays, indeed!
